This ensures you have a continuous point of contact, and you can request updates, discuss any completed work, or ask any general questions as the build progresses.

PrimeWorks build process

The following build process is a demonstration to help you understand how a typical project will progress. We’ll ensure that we have a strong presence throughout the build to update and answer any questions you have.

Step 1: Design approval

After the design process has been approved and the necessary consents have been obtained, we’ll prepare a detailed quantified scope of works for your consideration.

Step 2: Project period

Following your review and the agreement on a contract price, we’ll advise you of a start date which will be dependent on our current workload, weather conditions, your availability and the overall project period.

Step 3: Internal finishes

Prior to commencement on the site, we’ll issue you with a finishes template. This gives you the opportunity to refine the internal finishes, such as the following:

Floor coverings
Decorations
Internal joinery
Kitchen/bathroom unitary

Throughout the duration of the project, we will invite you to attend regular progress update meetings and issue interim valuations for the works completed at predetermined intervals.

Step 4: Snag report

As we near project completion, we’ll ask you to accompany us to carry out a pre-completion inspection to highlight any snagging work required. This will take place prior to the formal handover and gives you the opportunity to inspect our work before sign off. We strive to complete a build snag-free, however we’ll revisit any areas that have been raised.

Step 5: Project completion

Following a completed project, we’ll take care of the relevant installation certification and liaise with Building Control on your behalf to sign off on the project.

Commercial build

For commercial building projects, the same process will apply, alongside some additional considerations due to the scale of the project. We can assist in creating a project made up of a variety of industry specialists depending on the requirements such as the following:

We will adapt the project team make-up to complement each stage of the build process, and we can produce 3D visual examples and walkthroughs to demonstrate the concept.
